A wonderful atmospheric place with traditional dishes of Ukrainian and other cuisines. Ideal for working people who save their time and want to eat delicious food.

Amazing spot — very clean and pretty store, great selection of Ukrainian classic dishes.

Taste of Homeland. Traditional Ukrainian food. Can have a full meal for 15-20$. Meat, fish, pasta., potatoes, rice, beetroot soup, salads, deserts. Everything is fresh, made there. Paid 60$ for 3 meals including drink and desert

We had borscht, solyanka, mimosa salad, samsa, pancakes, and pastries, all washed down with berry compote! Huge thanks to all the chefs who prepared these amazing fresh dishes! It's fantastic that Halifax now has a place like this! Wishing the establishment great success!

A Ukrainian restaurant on Spring Garden! Down in the food court of Spring Garden Place. A great option for a quick lunch; has a little specialty grocery store too. I particularly like the solyanka, the potatoes with dill, and a mix of pickled carrot, pickled red cabbage and Greek salad; I don't have a favourite meat dish yet. (Ok, I put $10--20 because that's a normal lunch, but I paid a bit more for the cake to make the photo look better. And you get everything on separate plates on a tray, but that's not photogenic either, eh?)

Had the 50% off on soup and main course. Had the meat stuffed pepper and dill potatoes. For soup, it was borsch. All tasted really good and reminded me of my time in Central Asia. Loved it.

As a tourist in the city it was a great surprise, I just found it because of other reviews. The food taste just like homemade, great selection and very accommodating service for clients with food restrictions. Affordable. Will comeback if I have the chance

I was once in Ukraine, in the city of Krasnodon. And there they had incredibly delicious food in the restaurant at the main hotel in the town. Today it seemed to me that I was back in this amazingly beautiful place with a kind soul. The restaurant is in the basement, there is no loud music here, you can hear people's voices in different languages. The staff of the cafe is very kind and wished me a pleasant appetite. The whole service reminds a bit of the sophistication of a French restaurant, clean crockery, and elegance of serving. The only thing I don't really understand about this restaurant. Why doesn't the cleaner who mops the floors wear a special net that protects her hair from getting into the food? Best wishes for success.
